Cohesion Theatre Company spends a night out at the B.U.L.S.H.I.T Awards, and comes away winners!

On Monday, January 26th, in defiance of a blizzard that never came to Baltimore, our favorite small theater reviewer, The Bad Oracle, threw the awards show we all needed.  The 2014 Baltimore United Local Stage and Hidden Independent Theater (B.U.L.S.H.I.T.) Awards were a feast of who's who in the small theater scene in Baltimore. Held and the always quirky and never pretentious Gallery 788 in Hampden, the evening was a joy to behold and partake in. Fuzz Rourke of Spotlighters Theatre was everyone's favorite small theater icon for the night, taking home awards for Best Theatre Administrator, Best Season, and Critics Choice from guest presenter Amanda Gunther. Other toasts of the evening were The Baltimore Rock Opera Society's production of The Electric Pharaoh, Glass Mind Theatre Company for Welcome to The White Room and The All American Gender Fuck Cabaret. Stillpointe's Vanishing Pointe, and so many others.

Cohesion was thrilled to have Edward II and Coriolanus up for nominations in so many categories, and we were able to bring so many of our friends along to make the evening even more special.

Lana Riggins took home the award for Best Lighting Design for dark and brooding work on Edward II

Brad Norris and Alice Stanley won Best Director for Edward II.

The Cast and Crew of Edward II won the award for Best Overall Show!

And Cohesion Theatre Company won the award for Most Intriguing Stage!!!
