Victor Hugo's Les Miserables: A Tabletop Roleplaying Game
I would like to propose "Victor Hugo's Les Miserables, a Tabletop Roleplaying Game.” Les Miserables is my favorite book, and while I love the musical, there is so much in the novel that gets left out. Les Miserables is a story of redemption in political turmoil, about outcasts rising from below. Using my Game Mastering skills, finely honed over years of practice, we will do a live table top RPG staged reading version of Les Miserables. We will choose actors to play the leads: Jean Valjean, Cosette, Marius, etc. who will each have a character sheet with stats like Strength, Intelligence, and Pathos. The characters will attempt to maneuver through law enforcement, and the French Revolution. Audience suggestions will be encouraged. Will they find redemption, or die upon the barricades? Only the dice and our actors will tell.
In the interest of raising more money, I’ve come up with a tier system for "Victor Hugo’s Les Miserables, a Tabletop Roleplaying Game".
Any: Shoutouts on social media, thanks for making theater happen.
$50: A 1 Evening Session of any tabletop roleplaying game you want, for you and 4 of your friends, that I will run. I will acquire the materials, and learn the rules. If one of your friends is not local, we can run the game online. That’s $10 per person for an evening of fun!
$100: Play a character in Les Miserables, the Tabletop Role Playing Game, should it win. Limit 3. If my pitch is not picked, you get the $50 tier.
$200: Same as the $50 tier, but a 4 Evening Arc for you and your 4 friends. Explore your characters and your world!
$500: Same as the $200 tier, 10 Evening Epic Adventure for you and 4 of your friends. Limit 2. This will be a months long journey for you and your friends!
